Common sage

Sage is an evergreen shrub about 65 cm tall. The long, oval, velvety, gray-green leaves have a slightly bitter, camphor-like taste. Sage should be replaced about every four years as the plant becomes woody. It attracts beneficial insects while repelling harmful insects.
