Permaculture Mission
Permaculture Mission
"An ethical design approach aimed at creating sustainable human ecosystems inspired by nature," permaculture is best understood from a young age. Beyond this definition—which may seem somewhat complicated for an 8-year-old!—it applies to all areas of daily life, as Guizou and Claire Le Gal brilliantly demonstrate.
After a few pages of very simple explanations to understand what permaculture is and its main principles, the book is structured around essential actions: gardening, eating, drinking, dressing, moving, but also playing, cooperating, communicating or taking care of oneself. All these subjects first give rise to the observation of the way in which nature teaches us. Then the authors give examples so that these observations can be easily transformed into concrete achievements: growing lentil sprouts, collecting water to water your plants, organizing a swap party, creating a talking circle with your friends, etc.
