Mesclun
Mesclun
This mesclun puts mustard in the spotlight, as it comes in all its colors, shapes, and flavors: green or mauve, with flat or curly leaves, and a sweet or spicy Dijon flavor. It is sown in full sun every two to four weeks throughout the season. Harvest is 20 days after sowing. Each seed is spaced 1 cm (1/2 in) apart and planted 0.5 cm (1/4 in) deep in rows 30 cm (12 in) apart. Its frost tolerance allows for late-season harvests. Days to harvest: 20
