Squash

The very vigorous plant, well adapted to cold and humid climates, produces between 4 and 7 bottle-shaped fruits. Each weighs between 1 and 1.5 kg and has a solid cylindrical part, as well as a swollen part in which there is a small cavity filled with seeds. The ochre-colored epidermis when ripe protects a very fine orange-yellow flesh with an excellent nutty flavor. The fruits keep very well, sometimes for more than a year.
Note that it is possible to obtain fruits with variable shapes in the same population.
