Chaga in pieces - Aunt Agastache
Chaga in pieces - Aunt Agastache
Chaga is a strange black fungus that parasitizes the yellow birch, Quebec's iconic tree. Abundant in the Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie region, it strengthens the immune system and demonstrates very interesting anti-cancer, nutritional, and antioxidant effects, in addition to warming. A gift from nature to adopt in your daily life!
To learn more about this “UFO” of our medicinal flora, you can consult the excellent file from the Herbalists’ Guild dedicated to chaga.
Net weight: 100 g
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Infuse 5 to 10 pieces in 1 L of water for several hours over very low heat (ideally in a slow cooker on low – this way you'll have chaga ready and hot all the time!). Serve, then add more water to renew the infusion until the chaga no longer expresses any color or flavor.
Unlike chaga powder, chunk chaga can be re-infused 5 to 6 times. This is the best "format" to get the most out of the amount purchased... and harvested from nature.
INGREDIENTS
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus). Responsible winter harvest.
