The small, golden, tasty, and sweet fruits are eaten fresh or made into an exquisite jam. Easy to grow. Harvest when the fruit's outer shell dries and turns brown. For optimal flavor, the fruits are allowed to ripen inside their capsules until they are golden yellow. Height: 30-50 cm. The average fruit weight was 4.2 g in 2012.
