Celery

This celery has the best of both parents: the beautiful red stalks of 'Giant Red' and the adaptability and resilience of 'Ventura' green celery. Grown in very fertile soil with plenty of water, it produces delicious, deep, glossy red stalks that contrast beautifully with the emerald green foliage. Blanched stalks can be harvested individually for a continuous supply of salad celery. Alternatively, wait until the plants are mature to produce partially blanched stalks with a golden pink center.
