Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) is a very mild cleansing and foaming agent (surfactant), derived from the fatty acids of coconut oil, therefore vegetable.

SCI has a great place in your shampoo or bar soap recipes, in household products, in bath bombs...

It will leave a pleasant sensation on the skin, without drying it out. With the right dosage, it acts very gently.

It is irritating in its pure form. Wear goggles and a mask when handling it. Once incorporated into a formula, it is harmless.

Soluble in water and not in oil.
